This is nice to hear :) I was wondering what was going on when the site would quit responding... I always thought is was something wrong with my computer's connection. Glad progress is being made to the site :D

Just a quick update on a few changes. The most important change is that the site isn't slowing to a total crawl anymore or just dropping off completely. This is because the site was chewing through every bit of RAM it had on the server several times per day, and when this happened, shit basically stopped working until the server could catch up. The server's RAM has now been doubled, so that should be the end of our slow-downs for quite a while.

Next, I enabled unicode support in the gallery, so now it SHOULD accept foreign language characters, japanese in particular. I haven't actually tested this at all but it makes sense in my head, and it's stupid that it wasn't enabled before. It's amazing what nice little features you'll find if you just browse through every single option that's available to you.

Finally, and probably most noticeably, I enabled an option that adds country flags to the top of the gallery that you can click on, which will change the language of the gallery to match the corresponding country. This site is almost entirely made up of people that speak English, but we do have many visitors from all over the world according to our stats, so perhaps they'll appreciate the ability to switch languages in the gallery.

The new gallery system is still coming. Seriously. I know it grows old to just keep hearing that over and over without seeing anything, but just bear with us. Trust me, the admins hate the current gallery system even more than you do.
